Men! Men! Men! Not just ordinary men but they are all "eye candies!" I'm talking about the swoon worthy event of the country's favorite and fun fearless magazine for the women and gays alike, Cosmopolitan's Cosmo Bachelor Bash 2011! The World Trade Center Hall A was filled with girls, gays and of course gorgeous men garbed only with two choices of undergarment: briefs/boxers and jeans! 69 (what a naughty number, LOL) of the hottest men and 10 celebrity centerfolds sans the Younghusband's (as of press time, they're still grieving from the demise of their mother)made the whole crowd sizzle with "kilig"! Now that's really to watch out for!

Jake Cuenca during rehearsal (photo taken form the control booth w/c was on the right side of the hall, tssk, tssk)

Now let's see some of the pics I took and what happened backstage:

This is Jake Cuenca, on this photo, I didn't use a flash for this was a stolen shot backstage.

When I was backstage, it was a feeling of excitement yet I have to be composed and not easily drawn on the "ala-Adonis" bodies of the models, I didn't even take lots of photos of celebs because aside from my personal reasons, I was working that time for the portion buy (a jargon from the advertising world)of our client. Here are some photos of me backstage while at work:

I was giving instructions to Kat Alano-also one of our hosts for the live streaming of the Bachelor Bash on www.pldtwatchpad.com

A once Cosmo Centerfold, Rich Herrera

Part of our job was to interview on some hotties, one of them is Brapanese model and one of this year's centerfold Hideo- he is a real charmer with his smile.

And now let's see the men, all of them:

In all honesty, that night was a real treat for me seeing those men half naked! For those who failed to come in the event you still have a chance for Cosmo Bachelor Bash 2011 will be aired on ETC (date and time to be announced) and for exclusive backstage action you can view it on www.pldtwatchpad.com if you are a PLDT MyDSL subscriber.

Everyone was so excited for the most recent long weekend, and that includes me. For most, long weekends are the days to spend a quick vacation with family or friens and for some it's the time to hibernate on their beds to catch up for those needed sleep. What did I do on this previous holiday, will talk about it in future posts but before the long weekend came, I already had my pre-long weekend in Tagaytay! Lucky me! But this pre-long weekend started with this mouthwatering homemade walnut brownies:

The sweetness of the brownies is just right. Thank you Christine for this comfort food on that gloomy day!

It was drizzling when I went to Tagaytay with colleagues. so it's just perfect to enjoy the road trip, the food, the weather and this breathtaking scenery:

So sad, the photos where we ate the famous 'bulalo' is not yet uploaded, we had lunch in Leslie's Tagaytay,'bulalo' was perfect that day and the location of the local resto is perfect, you can see Taal Volcano (photos to follow in future blogs). After that hot 'bulalo', we went to Pink Sisters convent to say a little prayer and thank yous for all the blessings (sorry, no photos because it's not allowed though there are some who still took photos of them inside the convent but I opt to follow their rules). Afterwards, we went to the overrated Picnic Grove, it was nothing new but I love the coldness when we were there. Please click or check the link for my 'dramatic' photo op in Picnic Grove: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10150282496754081&set=t.1354098232&type=1&theater
We ended our quick Tagaytay getaway by battling the low temperature by drinking locally brewed coffee in Bag of Beans. This quaint coffee shop is such a perfect place for intimate talk or 'muni-muni'

Brewed coffee w/ fresh milk for 95 pesos only.

This photo was taken in the veranda of Bag of Beans, don't you love the background? So dramatic, coffee + nature.
