At Cagsawa Ruins

A picture-perfect Mayon Volcano and it's almost like a post card

It's my first time to see the beauty of Mayon Volcano and I was in awe with how beautifully it is done. I was in Albay together with my colleagues for an event, by the way, thank you PLDT MyDSL for bringing us to Legazpi, Albay and got the chance to see the beauty of the province in Bicol region. The main purpose of our Legazpi visit was to mount PLDT MyDSL's Awesome Legazpi through a car drifting show. It was successful even though we're rained and I'd like to thank all the Uragons (locals of Legazpi) for staying and enjoying the show.

Back to our Legazpi tour, we we're given only one day to explore Legazpi, I know it's not enough so we decided to go the places near the hotel where we stayed in like in Lignon Hills where you are 8,000 feet high, different old-stoned churches, Cagsawa Ruins , black sand beach and their local malls hehehe. Let me tell you about their food, Bicol region is known for their gata and chili as main ingredients on every dish they served so we tried EMBARKADERO's laing of course and their squid stuffed with laing:

Prawns drenched in garlic and butter- not so exceptional but delish

The whole team against Mayon Volcano

St. Dominic church made of old stones

My legs on the shores of black sand beach (the sand came from the volcanic ashes of Mayon Volcano, that's why it's pure black)

That day tour was not enough, we failed to visit caves and other tourist destination. But still we all had a great time in discovering Legazpi, Albay such a wondrous place if you're not a beach babe.
