Last week was a bit busy, I had meetings with the client and suppliers, errands to do and so on and so on. I was out of the office for a week, I only reported if I needed to meet with the editor for the AVP and video loop for my work trip over the weekend (that's another story to be blogged). With all the traffic and the unforgiving scorching heat of summer, I decided to treat myself with a good food and something I never tried before. One hot lunch time, I tried on this "homey" resto along Tomas Morato called "Kitchen of Cakes and Coffee". This tiny restaurant it's not new, it runs for many years now. Fast forward to what I ordered, I had lasagna but the filling is not beef but chorizo.





In all honesty, the taste is not exceptional for a price of 185 pesos, I feel a bit "lugi" instead I should have eaten to somewhere else like in Secret Recipes or in Metro Recipes. But then again that chorizo lasagna doesn't end the career of Kitchen of Cakes and Coffee. The next time I'll take a trip there, I will have something coffee and cake. Until my next foodie adventure.
